About This Recipe
Currywurst is Germany's most famous street food, invented in Berlin in 1949. Over 800 million currywursts are eaten in Germany every year — that's not a typo.
The concept is simple: pan-fried pork sausage sliced into coins, drenched in a tangy curry-ketchup sauce, and dusted with extra curry powder. Served with a bread roll or fries, it's fast, satisfying, and addictive.
